Element #27 on the Periodic Table, Cobalt (Co) in its natural state is a gray, hard, magnetic metal. Cobalt has been proven to be an extremely important nutritional element, essential to health and the human cell, as it is the Cobalt ion that allows the cell to manufacture the B-Complex vitamins, especially Vitamin B-12. An absence of Cobalt on the cellular level is linked to pernicious anemia and other blood disorders.
